I'm trying to decide whether or not to lose my goatee, and I would like some opinions on what you think is more attractive, facial hair or clean-shaven.

well, personally, i don't like it, gets in the way when kissing...

but hey, why change yourself for a girl? there will be girls who appreciate it

I think a nicely trimmed goatee is sexy. Not a scraggly fluffy one that makes you look like you're in a metal band. =) Just keep it neat and clean

A moustache is VERRY sexy! As well as a goatee. The rule of thumb here is : as long as they are neat and well manicured...NOT unruly tufts of tangled webs! Too hairy is a BIG turn off! I mean, you may as well be kissin a hairy a$$ cuz who can tell the difference? Clean shaven is nice, too, and friendlier than stubble on our face or wherever. But a man with a moustache is just sexier and more, well, manlier!

I like both! A well-kept bear and tash look hot on some guys. Be aware though, if you shave yours off, you'll have a rash of people saying 'you look so young!' lol. At least it'll grow back if you don't like the clean shaven look.
