How to reduce facial hair?

facial hair like upper lips, chin etc..

How to reduce facial hair?

First of all there are a few things that can be the cause of it:

your ethnic background

hirsutism(inbalance of hormones)

polycystic ovarian syndrome

and a few others, i am unsure of

if the ethnic background does not apply, talk to your doctor about getting tested for the other things.

I found that waxing works the best, i have hirsutism, which can only be cured from losing weight and balancing my hormones, so it is very expensive.

I did try laser hair removal, which really worked to get rid of it, but it grew back because i did not know i had hirsutism.

nair and creams, gave me a rash because i have very sensitive skin.

I suggest if it is ethnic reasons, try the laser hair removal. The lady taht did mine was east indian, and she said she used it, and it got rid of everything and it hasnt come back..

its worth a shot right. Look into pricing. Some places are over priced.

To be honest, if you want to permanently reduce facial hair, the only way is laser treatment. However, you can use products that can temporarily remove the hair. Such as hair removal cream (specifically ones for sensitive skin or facial hair) or wax. Some people even go to the trouble of threading or plucking away their facial hairs which can be a lengthy process.

Hope this helps :)

A new technology product, available in India, the Aloe-Vera based cream is designed to remove the growth of unwanted hairs of the face, arms, underarms, legs, bikini line etc. The unwanted hairs first need to be removed from a normal intact skin by waxing, threading, plucking, epilating etc. After the subsiding of any adverse reaction ( caused by the hair removal ), apply the cream twice a day, to the normal intact skin of the intended area, for 1 week after the hair removal. Then up to 3 weeks leave the area as it is.

After one month of the first hair removal, repeat the process of waxing or threading again and apply the cream twice a day for 1 week again and leave it for the next 3 weeks.

Repeat this process for 3 to 6 months after the first hair removal.

From the very first month itself, the quantity of hair growth will start retarding significantly in the area where the cream is applied. In about 3 to 6 months (depending on a persons gene), there will be no hair growth in that area for the rest of your life !!!

Effectiveness of the cream depends on how effectively the hairs have been removed at the first place. When the hair is plucked / pulled from the root it exposes the core of the hair-manufacturing factory to the cream. Now the active principle of the cream (for which the innovator has got an India PATENT already ) permanently damages this hair-manufacturing factory itself. Repeated application of the cream after every hair removal sessions effectively deactivates more and more hair FOLLICLES. And as we are all born with a limited number of hair follicles on the body, the number of hair keep declining.

Excess of facial hair in women called Hirsutism is the outcome of abnormal hormonal variation. There are however numerous ways for removing them. Epilation is the process of removing the hair from below the skin. Waxing, sugaring, lasers, threading, electrolysis, plucking and tweezing are some of the methods employed for hair removal. Plucking involves a lot of pain as individual hair is pulled from the root with the help of tweezers. Since the hair is plucked from the root it takes a longer time to grow. How ever it is time consuming but plucking with epilator can do the job faster. It is not recommended for people who cannot withstand pain. Electrolysis and laser treatment are also available. But however they are long-term treatments and are expensive. Electrolysis curbs hair growth. Even in some cases of hair growth, the hair is weak and light in colour. Electrolysis is employed for those whom laser treatment is not applicable with regards to their dark, light skin or grey hair. Waxing is a very effective and inexpensive method widely preferred in the removal of facial hair. It helps in pulling out the hair from its root and involves a longer time for the hair to grow back. Epilight hair removal involves the exposition of the hairy area to an intense pulse light .It is more gentle than waxing and involves fewer probabilities of pigmentation and scarring on the skin when compared to laser and electrolysis. It is also less painful comparatively. Further it is ideal for all types of skin. Bleaching is involved after hair removal for those areas if they still look dark. It helps in lightening the hair colour making it look less visible on the skin. But however it has to be professionally done in a salon. Facial hair is no more a problem, as there are ample ways to treat them for a smooth and flawless skin. You can adopt any one method written above, to reduce or permanent removal of facial hair. Good Luck
